I always wondered what it was like for scientists trying to pull the curtain down to expose AIDS or that tobacco causes cancer.

This is it. We’re living in truly wild times.
I wish you all a safe, healthy & joyful holiday season.

See you in 2026!

“Some parents took to social media to express concern about a universal mask ban.”

Guilt as charged.

Because it would have unconscionable & deliberate, debilitating harm.

Illegal. Discriminatory.
Ableist. Profiling.

Hundreds of people contacted me about legal action.

96K views & counting.

@wcia3news.bsky.social you reported that Unit4 was NOT going to ban medical masks, yet “surgical” (recently shown to ⬇️ infection risk 54%) are medical 😷 Why would the policy be DATED 12/16? Clearly the email was intended. It would have been instated without push back.

Repeat after me:

I will wear a N95 respirator as I travel in shared indoor spaces (healthcare facilities, airports, public restrooms, mall, etc)

I will not visit anyone upon feeling ANY symptoms indicating possible infection (e.g., tiredness, headache).

I will test.

Air purifiers are my friend.

🎄 Happy holidays. Sorry to ruin the vibes.

+1.5 MILLION disabled adults in two months.

Entering year 7
In the 12th wave.

Disability is accumulating because infection is accumulating.

You can pretend it’s over.
The labor force, healthcare system, and your brain do not agree.

Anyone who isn’t masking & using air purifiers in classrooms is a child killer.
These people are literal baby killers
The CDC officially adopted ACIP recommendations to change the universal hepatitis B vaccine at birth; the agency says it will still be available through Vaccines for Children. They're still reviewing the rec on blood testing.

Fun fact:

No one’s going to test before your holiday gathering.

Not for Covid.
Not for Flu.
Not for RSV.

But you could. You could show them how it’s done.

🙋‍♂️ Just curious… At what point are academics going to start masking/demanding air purifiers?

How do you reconcile your job as one that teaches students to think while simultaneously causing permanent damage to brains and inability to think?

60% of transmission is pre/asymptomatic.

ITS AIRBORNE!

What’s up BlueSkyers?

Like this if you still care about your brain and avoiding early onset disease from a disabling airborne pathogen…

In other words, like this if you are still wearing a mask every day.

Masking makes sense. SARS-CoV-2 can persist, and new evidence from France shows infected megakaryocytes + platelets — meaning real blood involvement. This virus isn’t just respiratory, and protecting your air protects your blood.

Don’t know anything about viral persistence? Know that it’s the norm👇

For me, choosing to wear a respirator mask in all public spaces signifies an awareness of my connection to the human community, whose collective well-being is grievously threatened by the ongoing pandemic of Covid-19.

If the human community is not willing to take necessary action to shield children from the extreme, life-threatening harm of Covid-19, then the human community can no longer make any claim to having a moral framework.

Is there a book like White Fragility…
but about American adults and the air they breathe?

Because someone needs to write the book on why a nation that buys air fryers, air fresheners, air purifiers, scented candles, and aromatherapy oils…
won’t fight for clean air that keeps their children alive.
