Immune-mediated vasculopathy covers most of the damage. I add neuroinvasive because people forget that the 🧠 is an organ & the virus crosses the BBB.

5. Absolute excess at 6 months: myocarditis/pericarditis 2.24 per 100k after infection vs 0.85 per 100k after vaccination.
Bottom line: infection carries rare-but-real, longer-lasting risks; vaccine risk is rarer, shorter, and smaller.
