Brett Meador, pastor of tax-exempt Athey Creek megachurch, criticizes Episcopal refugee resettlement who resettled 110,000 refugees since 1988. Brett celebrates that Trump put a hold on their funding and is investigating their org. The crowd cheers at the thought of abandoning refugees.

Athey Creek Church is a far-right Christian Nationalist church that has known Proud Boys and right-wing "influencers" in attendance. They also have a large law enforcement contingent. On Friday they hosted these guys, and later that night, Pastor Meador did his "End Times doomsday" fearmongering.

Some of the comments include threats to the schools. Proud Boy leader Dan Grant Tooze threatens to take it down himself. Connie Bailey proposes hanging the person who hung the Saudi flag. Tom Griggs thinks hanging the flag is biased against Christianity. Gary Blair wants to defund the school.

It's funny how their solution to fixing their own rot, corruption, and clergy sex abuse is to be even more devoted, more forgiving, and give even more money to the leaders of their sect.

The NAR Charismatic folks have it all figured out. Over the weekend Callie Shipp Gray says their sect has liars, frauds, and people having sex with people they're not married to, but everyone has issues. She says the solution is to Christian harder by praying, reading, and worshipping more.

If you participated in inhumane behavior, you shouldn't be rewarded with the retirement funds you accrued. That should belong to the people you harmed.

We're currently making new reasons for reparations. I'd like reparations to come out of the ICE and CBP budget and their retirement plans.

My impression is that the City is choosing MAGA (the mayor and city attorneys who represent the police) and finally found a federal administration that agrees with their worst MAGA impulses. They seem to believe killing people in mental health crisis is an acceptable price we pay for having police.

My impression is that the City is choosing MAGA (the mayor and city attorneys who represent the police) and finally found a federal administration that agrees with their worst MAGA impulses. They seem to believe killing people in mental health crisis is an acceptable price we pay for having police.
I'm glad we finally have some city councilors who care about accountability.
