I’ve been saying gender markers need to be taken off all forms of any government ID for 11 years now, there is zero amount of validation you will get from that as a trans person that is worth any government having that information about everyone

I genuinely have no idea how to convey this to the American people, but I think the biggest impediment to any kind of immigration reform is that people are convinced that "legal" and "illegal" are immutable, intrinsic categories instead of a rapidly-shifting arbitrary constellation of regulations.

Nothing about this is accidental. We live in a patriarchal society that protects sex predators and punishes their victims, and they are teaching everyone a clear lesson about what you should expect if you accuse powerful men raping you: you will be punished even MORE
NEW: The Justice Department published dozens of unredacted images of nude women (and possibly teens) as part of its Epstein release.

The faces of those people were also left unredacted.

"The bill, HB246 ... instructs the director of vehicles of Kansas to identify every license issued to a trans person and send written notice that the license must be surrendered and reissued. Driving with a license that has been canceled, suspended, or revoked is a misdemeanor in Kansas."
An extreme Kansas bill will invalidate the drivers license of every trans person in the state. It was passed alongside a particularly extreme bathroom bill, meaning that the implications of every trans Kansan losing legal ID overnight has largely been missed.
Kansas Bill Will Strip Driver’s Licenses from Every Trans Resident Who Changed Gender — Assigned
As Kansas passes a bathroom bill, another bill that will invalidate the driver’s license of every trans resident has been deemphasized in the coverage. Also, Trump’s Department of Education says San J...

it is kinda giving the game away that all these sex pests wrote emails to each other like “there is a witch hunt going on against me alleging that I am a rapist” and “women are overblowing the whole sexual abuse stuff” while organizing the mass rape of girls.

Given that trans people, epically Black and Brown trans people, are more likely to get caught in the injustice system…
“It’s not politically popular to reduce restrictions for people with convictions or who are in the criminal legal system,” says an LGBTQ+ advocate. “But if you are going to have these objections, there needs to be guardrails.”

Even after years of reforms to state law governing name changes, prosecutors can still object when trans people have charges or prior convictions.

crazy how the last 5 yrs of the development of theory-of-the-commons around transmisogyny about how trans women are misogynistically treated as a kind of woman considered ontological sex dolls by male supremacist society was confirmed here by one particularly disgusting email transcript
O cool The hypothesis that the elite were trying to segrigate trans people from society purely to keep us as sex slaves was real, but only for trans women since they see trans men as undesirable for sex and want them eliminated which is EXACTLY THE POLICIES AND RHETORIC WE'RE SEEING HAPPEN RIGHT NOW

Yeah, im gonna go ahead and say Gawker doesnt need the retroactive kudos for being targeted by epstein. I'm so tired of the same shit over and over again. If cis people saw us as human, a lot of shit would be better for everyone rn.

While at Gawker, Hamilton Nolan wrote a disgusting article about Ava Cordero, a teenage trans girl who was an Epstein victim and one of the earliest whistleblowers on his proclivities.

I found the first investigative file from the first complainant against Epstein in 2005.

There are descriptions from the officer, over several interviews of the girl, of her pulling her knees up on the chair, drawing doodles, & the officer high-fiving her to keep her calm as she speaks of horror.

Astonishing that the tech sector response to a deep text processing tool that also has an autocomplete function is to hand over control of vast sections of their lives to it, and then start bugging the rest of us to do the same.

“won’t somebody think of the children” has always been a battle cry against children’s autonomy under patriarchy, it was always a slogan in favor of CSA, not against it.
that’s also why it is used to argue against sex education by people in favor of child marriage.
It turns out that the "won't someone think of the children" crowd were thinking rather too much about children
You know I'm starting to think all these columns about the importance of preserving these "young, healthy breasts" were exactly what they sounded like

Wherever Ava Cordero is today, I hope she’s doing well. From what else I know about her, her life has been a difficult one.

But because she’s a tranny whore, she never got the honor and privilege of being known as the original Epstein whistleblower.
