At this point I'd rather be represented in Congress by a random sampling of Minnesotans.
SCHUMER says Democrats are “united” behind three DHS reforms

1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.

2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.

3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.

This isn't mine, and I can't definitively find the original source. But I love this little bit of wisdom:

"If you're a fifteen-minute walk from a coffee shop, but the server there has to drive an hour to get to work, you don't live in a walkable city. You live in a theme park."
For all the fearmongering about capital flight from New York City, there’s an exodus few want to talk about: working people.

Sky-high rents and outrageous child care costs are already pushing families out of the city they keep running.

That’s what we have to change.

The record-setting kicker is a restricted free agent and will need a long-term contract sooner or later. How does Dallas compensate a player who's done things no one ever has before?

Good luck Jets!

Hard to get a better distillation of centrist politics. Obama's solution is to recommend the podcast of Ezra Klein, who is still going through a months-long PR disaster because he completely and utterly failed at his job of analyzing politics.
Here’s a podcast that does a good job of laying out what’s at stake, and why all of us need to get off the sidelines to demand change.

Usually with these reports it's pretty easy to tell which side is benefitting enough to leak the news. Here I am a little unsure: Is it the organization that failed to reel in the racist e-mail sender? Or is it the racist e-mail sender that is somehow above a Jets OC job?
The #Jets reached out to Jon Gruden about the idea of joining Aaron Glenn's staff, according to multiple sources. Gruden wasn't interested in the job.
