I HAVE INTERNET AGAIN!!!!!!!! ALSO TURNS OUT THIS WASN'T EVEN THE PROBLEM THE PROBLEM WAS THAT THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM IS GROSSLY INCOMPETENT AND THE MAC ADDRESS THEY WERE READING OFF AND THE DEVICE THAT WAS RESPONDING TO THEIR PINGS WAS THE FUCKING ONT NOT A MODEM
Apparently the physical wiring for my internet got fucked up at some point and I have been piggybacking off somebody else’s account this whole time but didn’t notice because they were paying for the same speeds. But when I tried to switch from PPPoE to IPoE it just… broke
