I never wrote a picture in my life
Still watching Pluribus, hive mind still seems sick as hell, Carol still provably the most annoying person on earth. Good show but I’m not experiencing any real philosophical quandaries about it so far.

This quote is from a piece that’s 8 years old now.
Thinking about that time I got quoted in the National Review about Bari Weiss

The grocery store sent us different brands of butter and the salted/unsalted label color scheme doesn’t match why I’m used to so now I have to sit down and put on my glasses and study every stick of butter to determine what kind it is, fuck my chungus life

Started watching Pluribus and I’ve been assuming the Body Snatchers parallels were subtle because no one seems to be mentioning them in reviews but wow they are not subtle

The important thing to understand about Bari is that she’s very stupid and omnidirectionally incompetent.
So Weiss failed to 1) protect her newsroom and reporters 2) understand public perception 3) comprehend the impact of her own actions 4) REALIZE THEY ALREADY SENT THE EPISODE TO CANADA WHERE PEOPLE HAVE THE INTERNET AND CAN BROADCAST IT TO THE REST OF THE WORLD

Everyone in the federal government and the media only has one job and it's frantically running around and trying to hide evidence of the president's many crimes. They are so tired and all they want is for him to at least pause the crimes for a minute but he keeps on doing new ones

Seems worth noting at this point that Weiss's internal critics at the Times were correct and her many apologists among elite pundits were wrong

Let’s not forget that both a Tate and a Paul got the shit beat out of them this weekend. Hang on to that.
Would love a single consequence.

CBS News EIC Bari Weiss had concerns about the CECOT piece, I’m told. The network decided to hold the segment pending, among other things, comment or an interview with White House officials next year…

Big unnaturals
“Rather than relying on an implant or a patient's own body fat to add volume to hips or augment breasts, alloClae — which can cost as much as $100,000 per procedure — uses donor fat from a cadaver as a first-of-its-kind body filler.”
Corporate types are clamoring for a new kind of plastic surgery — using dead people's fat
Corporate types are waiting weeks for — and spending big on — alloClae, which cuts out the recovery time typically associated with body enhancements.
