I genuinely cannot stress this enough. If you want to make a valid point about anything (especially social justice), using AI imagery is the quickest way to discredit everything you are saying. Same goes for fake or out of context images but especially AI. Just don’t.

Reminder that almost a quarter century ago, Schumer voted for the Hague Invasion Act, declaring that the US would militarily invade the Hague were it ever to be prosecuted by ICC for war crimes.

Biden did too, it was an overwhelmingly bipartisan agreement to be unaccountable to international law.
Look at how many names on this list are *still in power*, still kicking around. They weren't exactly young then, but now a lot of them are much much richer.

phone anxiety people I see you — it’s the weekend, it’s after office hours, you’ll prob get a voicemail. You can make the call!
in this statement, Schumer says Trump lied to him THREE TIMES about this invasion. but Schumer's only concrete ask is for Trump to BRIEF CONGRESS.

why? so Trump can lie again?

This insane asshole has been doing nothing but crimes since the day he took office, you're the only branch of government with the power to remove him and you're not even going to try because it might not work? Why are you even there? To feel important and do insider trading?

I hope that people organizing against the US war on Venezuela will follow the most effective segments of the Palestinian solidarity movement - the ones who run targeted campaigns against companies and institutions that uphold the war machine, not just big symbolic marches.

People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

The kidnapping of Maduro inaugurates a highly dangerous era of U.S. empire that for perhaps the first time in an era of mass media is not pretending to be anything other than a violent, extractive enterprise of domination.

An Azal Coffee recently opened in our neighborhood, and I'm so excited about it and the proliferation of Yemeni coffee shops in general--having third places that are open late and *not alcohol-focused* is something US cities desperately need. (Also, the coffee is amazing.)

I feel like there's also a lot of white-people-fear-and-revenge bullshit aimed at Haitians in particular, going back a few centuries.
Targeting "Somalis" or "Haitians" is purely a way to target Black people without using a hard R. Just a starting point.
