Isn't it wild when the mask drops and the antisocial leftist abuse defenders start admitting things out loud?
Bro, you did the Kat Abu mutual aid discourse completely of your own volition. Not even disputing its bad/risky campaigning, but it was so obviously going to result in death threats.

You like being publicly correct more than you like your personal safety.

You choose to be tankie bait. 🤷‍♂️

Raskin: To promote justice for the people, you've got to listen to the victims like the women seated behind you today. Those are just some of the hundreds of survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's global sex trafficking ring. You still haven't with them.

More importantly, they tend to be younger and thus have an outsized influence on their peers. These peers may be apolitical or not yet sure of their own beliefs. So wrecker leftists are essentially "poisoning the well" by convincing these young people that Dems are worse than Republicans.

Please note that she's READING this. She PREPARED this as a rebuttal for questions about Epstein. She planned this, had someone write it down, and read it.
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."

Honestly, Thomas Massie might have been the most effective questioner of Bondi today. This presentation was so damning, it makes clear that Pam Bondi's DOJ is either the most incompetent in history, or they are the most corrupt in history actively participating in a cover up of the Epstein files.
Massie: "Here is an email that was sent by the victims' lawyers to the DOJ. It was a list of names not to release. What did the DOJ do with this email? They released it! Literally the worst thing you could do the survivors you did."

Bondi: He didn't even know Chase Mulligan was. He is a defendant in your own district who preyed on girls.

Raskin: Well, you know what? If he were part of the Epstein investigation, you wouldn’t do anything about it.

“Today, lymphoma is no longer the only disease linked to EBV (Epstein-Barr virus). A growing body of evidence suggests the virus may also be a necessary precondition for the development of multiple sclerosis. And EBV is hardly the only virus that leaves a permanent mark.”
My Op Ed in Today's Washington Post: "The long-lasting effects of viruses — and the anti-vaccine movement. For some people, a viral infection can have devastating long-term effects."

Sci-fi that deals with questions of artificial consciousness is interesting because it's pushing us to think about what it means to be human. It functions as a metaphorical mirror.

Being shocked by a computer programmed to play pretend reflects on us too, but not in a particularly flattering way

it sounds corny but i can’t stress how important of a touchpoint i think andor will be to this generation. it arrived at the perfect time — piggybacking off of his childhood love of star wars just as he was becoming aware of the wider (real) world.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

Invoking wealthy class solidarity to excuse sex crimes against children is sorta the Epstein Class in a nutshell

it is batshit how our educational system still in many ways gatekeeps access to high level humanities from kids who excel at humanities but have bad math scores (and the same goes for kids who excel at math but have bad verbal scores, I'm sure)
Back in the 80’s, my high school did this ridiculous thing where if you were bad at either maths or English, you got put in the C stream for BOTH. I was an A student in English who suddenly found myself in a class with kids reading stuff I’d read when I was 6. I was reading DH Lawrence! For fun.
Those who weren’t resigned to the Math Idiot Garbage Bin as kids may not grasp how much “if you’re bad at math, you’ll die in a ditch and all will be better off for it” sentiment was floating around in the 90s and 2000s, but it sure felt real to me.

(my parents are great! It didn’t come from them!)

the fractal complexity of all the different shady global interests that converged on the person of Jeffrey Epstein more or less guarantees that we'll be excavating and interpreting these files for years to come... and suggests that we need to see a lot more oligarch emails dumped going forward!
