Its a tell that Ds are doing what centrist pundits have explicitly said they should do—center "kitchen table issues"—but theyre moving the goalposts to still give them grief anyways bc Ds arent doing the thing they *implicitly* want them to also do—throw trans ppl, minorities, & women under the bus

I haven't read it, BUT the affordability argument is as much a tool to depress Republican turnout then it is to do persuasion. Is there a 10 point gap in voters who care about it? Maybe, but as long as they do not vote Republican I don't care at all
