I love to point out that evolution came up with two strategies for animals to survive falls:
1. Cat-righting reflex, so an animal can land on its feet when it tumbles
2. Panda gooshiness, so it doesn't hurt when they tumble

I saw the second avatar in the theater and I could not tell you a single thing happened. They are utterly forgettable movies with zero cultural impact.
