It's really instructive when you replace "Millennials" with "middle-aged adults" in headlines.

'"Middle-aged adults" are swimming in student debt and may never own homes.'

This is centrism in microcosm.

Starmer can't possible support a genocide because his job title says Good Guy. New Labour can't be in Epstein's circle because of reasons. The status quo can't possible be rotten its just temporarily damaged by one guy.
A human rights lawyer supports genocide? 🙄
Besties with a Nazi paedo?🙄

Listen to yourself.

Mate, he inherited an unmitigated disaster, and they’ve been in power less than 18 months. Most of which has been globally tumultuous due to the 800Ib gorilla in the room sucking up all the oxygen.

Genuinely, what do you even say to these people. "Better things aren't possible, so I'm going to fight against what's possible." Absolute dead-enders.

A better world is possible for those willing to fight for it. I reject your defeatism entirely.
Better things aren't possible. That's the reality of Trump's 2024 win and Project 2025. Trump is tearing down things that you'll never be able to rebuild.

I love the idea that it was the Most Important Election of Our Lives, maybe of All History, a referendum on Democracy vs Fascism, Liberty vs Dictatorship, but that it simultaneously WASN'T worth "a pony".
But they had something to vote for, it was and is called 250 years of flawed American Democracy.

They demanded a pony, and when they didn't get one, they had a tantrum, and now we are all suffering. Of course I will blame them. They failed the easiest open book civics test in history.

In 2016-2010 the left's "purity tests" and "ice cream and ponies for everyone" demands were medicare for all and student loan forgiveness.

In 2023 it's please stop a genocide.
The US left is a very small minority but also has the power to singlehandedly topple us into fascism by withholding their votes (which we will still do nothing to try to win by the way.)

When we hit the inevitable cynical liberal pivot back to status-quo-fucking, THIS will be the line of attack as they go about culling the left again.

I see you're not taking comment on your own timeline, for _some_ indiscernible reason. Anyway, some clown seems to have led you astray, so here's an update on cost of living under Labour from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation:

Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.

Charlie Kirk spent his life‘s work and all of his energy and time targeting out-groups while arguing for a world in which gun massacres would be easy to enact, plentiful, and inevitable, and he became famous and wealthy doing it, and we’re now not supposed to mention that because it’s not polite.

“You will never live in a society where you won’t have a single gun death. That is nonsense. It’s drivel. It’s worth it to have some gun deaths every single year so that we have the 2nd Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That’s a prudent deal. It’s rational.”
