The EHRC are seeking legal costs of £300,000 for good law projects failed judicial review where GLPs point that the guidance encouraged things that are illegal was broadly accepted by the courts.

The amount of money that is spent on needless cruelty by our government is staggering.

Having to ask permission yes. That's fine. Question is who gives it. Mahmood didn't vote because she's subcommittee chair, Starmer voted against because it's in his interest for Burnham not to be an MP, Powell apparently in favour - and the other 7 members were *who* exactly? Hence the question.

That's ... Not the Andy Burnham vote he's talking about. Look at those numbers - only 10 members of a subcommittee voted on Burnham. Pray tell, how does one get from an 8-1 vote against him, to an 80-20 split, with subdivisions for the various members?

Lmao, and who decided which members of the NEC would be involved in the vote? Were they members elected by CLPs? Trade Unions? Or was it entirely the internal MP members, dominated by Starmer allies?

That is to say, as a claim by a disgruntled employee against an overbearing employee, one could argue it to be a sort of 'win'.
But as a shot against trans rights, which it was very clearly intended to be, it failed, totally and completely.

I think this is my favourite part. Judge taking absolutely no shit here. Tears apart the idea that she can't distinguish between trans women and cross dressers, and calls her out on making unevidenced claims,and on still using the toilets anyway after claiming they degrade her!
