EXCL: David Lammy has offered to meet with the family of the 14 year-old girl sexually assaulted by an asylum seeker in Epping.

Last week the girl’s dad told me the government had “broken” the family and called for Lammy to apologise to them in person.

Anthony Williams, 32, will appear in court today charged with 10 counts of attempted murder, one count of ABH and possession of a bladed article after the incident in Huntingdon.

He’s also charged with attempted murder in connection with another incident at Pontoon Dock DLR station on Saturday.

Plaid Cymru won the Caerphilly by-election overnight, with Reform pushing Labour into a distant third.

Plaid got 47% of the vote on a record turnout, suggesting to me that there was some tactical voting to keep Reform out, which won 36%.

A factor that could be underpriced in a general election.

BREAKING: Counter Terrorism Police say the attack at a synagogue in Manchester is terrorism.

They say they believe they know the identity of the attacker but due to safety reasons at the scene they cannot confirm it.

Two further arrests have been made.
