Unfortunately, that's not the Court's conclusion in their primary example. They say a women's service that meets the proportionality bar for being single sex, excludes all 'biological males', including trans women. Then that - subject to a second check - it may exclude trans men too.
The Supreme court ruling, with text highlighted that reads: On the contrary, if sex means biological sex, then provided it is proportionate, the female only nature of the service would engage paragraph 27 and would permit the exclusion of all males including males living in the female gender regardless of GRC status. Moreover, women living in the male gender could also be excluded under paragraph 28 without this amounting to gender reassignment discrimination. This might be considered proportionate where reasonable objection is taken to their presence, for example, because the gender reassignment process has given them a masculine appearance or attributes to which reasonable objection might be taken in the context of the women-only service being provided. Their exclusion would amount to unlawful gender reassignment discrimination not sex discrimination absent this exception

It's circular logic!
A paragraph from the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of sex in the Equality Act 2010, which reads: 231. Schedule 16 and section 193(1) plainly intend that single-sex associations and charities should be permitted to exist along with other single-characteristic associations. A certificated sex meaning applied to these exceptions would make it impossible for any women’s association or charity – including, for example, a mutual support association for women who are victims of male sexual violence, a lesbian social association, a breastfeeding support charity – to be set up or to pursue a dedicated purpose which is directed at the needs of biological females. To require such associations or charities to reconceive of their objects as targeting a group that does not correspond with their original aims, and to allow trans people with a GRC (of the opposite biological sex) to join would significantly undermine the right to associate on the basis of biological sex (or sexual orientation based on biological sex as we have discussed above).

The Explanatory Notes for the GRA 2004 explicitly state that it applies to sex discrimination protections, by reference to the Sex Discrimination Act 1975. How does the Supreme Court explain this somehow not applying to the SDA's successor, the Equality Act 2010?
Quote from the GRA Explanatory Notes: 27. Subsection (1) states the fundamental proposition that once a full gender recognition certificate is issued to an applicant, the person’s gender becomes for all purposes the acquired gender, so that an applicant who was born a male would, in law, become a woman for all purposes. She would, for example, be entitled to protection as a woman under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975; and she would be considered to be female for the purposes of section 11(c) of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, and so able to contract a valid marriage with a man. 28. Subsection (2) provides amplification of subsection (1), making clear that the recognition is not retrospective, so the certificate does not rewrite the gender history of the transsexual person, and that the new gender applies for the interpretation of enactments, instruments and documents made before as well as after the issue of a certificate. 29. Subsection (3) means that the general proposition is subject to exceptions made by the remainder of the Act and, for the future, by any other enactment or subordinate legislation.

Indeed yeah. Extremely clear here that it applies to the SDA1975. The idea that application somehow lapsed when the SDA was repealed and succeeded by the EA is absurd. Why would it *not* apply?

Made some elven magic items for my D&D campaign in my homebrew world, realised I was definitely gonna slowly end up developing a conlang. Made some words following roots from proto-Celtic and goddamnit, once again I have found myself almost recreating Sindarin.

Me crouched on the tracks between two burnout marks, one hand touching the track surface Pascal Wehrlein's Formula E car in the garage ready to be inspected. It has a mostly black livery, with red highlights on the front wing and white around the cockpit. The tyres also have red and blue stripes running round the circumference. The podium ceremony for the penultimate race - Mitch Evans in first, Jake Dennis second, Sebastian Buemi third. A Jaguar team rep is also there to collect the team trophy, and has both his hands above his head in a victory pose A series of Formula E cars racing around the first two corners of the circuit, all almost touching each other. Three cars in particular are side by side - one will have to brake hard in order to avoid the wall on the inside of turn two.
