They’ve done him up to look like the fourth-billed star on the poster for a 2013 Jennifer Lawrence sci-fi movie about a world where computer code controls dreams.

Saw this quoted on here, was intrigued, clicked through, started scrolling up, continued scrolling up, thought “there is no way I am going to read all this to get the context for this comment”, kept scrolling up, scrolled up some more, then saw myself at the top of the thread? Love it here.
That’s just so vague as to be unbelievable, I’m sorry. On that measurement Margaret Thatcher was a Bevanite.

The necessity of the Matthew Doyle suspension was blindingly obvious weeks ago so it’s rather unbelievable it’s taken this long for Starmer to act. I guess we can add it to the list of about 20 other times it’s taken Starmer ages to act on something that was blindingly obvious weeks before.

Has anyone written specifically about new Labour and homosexuality
February 10, 2026 at 9:28 PM
It’s fascinating how many of these Labour scandals involve gay men.

Do you think this is part of why we’ve seen caution from potential leadership challengers? Or is it just the abyss?
February 10, 2026 at 6:31 PM
Instant hall of fame post for me I’m afraid.
February 10, 2026 at 5:29 PM
Yeah I don’t understand why today’s piece (Stephen Bush makes a straightforward point about what Starmer needs to change) generated so much controversy when yesterday’s piece (Stephen Bush reveals he’s lied about having read Middlemarch) didn’t.

Pretty chuffed with my current placement in the Vulture movie fantasy league

"We're all signed up to something I suppose" is so funny.

Tag yourself, I’m “a red-green-yellow-troon-loon-ScotNat-Hamas coalition clownshow”
You may not like it, but strip out the hyperbole and abuse and it's quite hard to argue with this Cummings asssessment of the public mood
February 10, 2026 at 3:32 PM
They’re calling Sarwar’s coalition the weirdest of all time.
Pleased to announce that I’m a Starmtrooper now.

‘Drip? Intravenous.’ is such a stupid line, I love it dearly.

Also it's nice to see the Cape Town mayor pushing back against this great replacement nonsense.

This is a good example of how Grok and ChatGPT have normalised talking to actual people like they're AI chatbots.
February 10, 2026 at 11:39 AM
This whole thing is a mess. If you'd asked me last week to come up with an issue on which one side would be Anas Sarwar and Monica Lennon and the other side would be Ian Murray and Douglas Alexander I would ask you if you were high.
