the reflexive need to defend dems leads to funny places. it's not intentional, but people end up at a point of arguing that a bunch of people in their 70s-80s who even voted for war on terror shit are, secretly, just as if not far more enlightened on bigotry as the 20 somethings protesting them.

In a functional country, this would be a scandal. A service suffering only from chronic underfunding was ripped apart because the media created a myth of 1000s of complaints of malpractice. The truth - as in my family’s experience - was very different.

One of the persistent weird claims of the GC movement is that transfem breastfeeding (induced via similar means to inducing a lesbian co-parent, or another relative to breastfeed using domperidone especially in cases where natal parent can't give milk) is that trans women's breast milk isn't milk.
One aspect of FWS that has not been widely remarked on is the bald assertion by UKSC (para 178) that trans women can’t breastfeed. This is, of course, false. But this falsehood was part of the reasoning behind the claim that the Equality Act obviously has a trans-exclusionary understanding of sex.
This is very silly. Does anyone really think the phrase in question "Post Milk Generation" designates low milk (as the Supreme Court has decided)? Rather than people who don't want to drink milk?
