‘Are you impervious to everything?!’ - man who had just kicked me in the leg.

‘The Whore of Babylon’ - man who was about to shatter his cane against my arm.

‘Nice boobies’ - guess what it’s some man.

My employer shares none of my views.

JK Rowling got a full *decade* of press as a martyr for being "cancelled" (declared passe by people online) and meanwhile nobody considers it very interesting that a prominent left wing author is basically banned from entering or publishing in the United Kingdom for her politics
so this is like, one of the biggest free speech infringements by a western democracy in our lifetimes right?

I'm old enough to remember (I'm over one year old) when we were all told to shut up about labour's left wing credentials because the renters rights and employment rights bills were on the way. how are those going lxds? how are my rights looking?
NEW: The UK Government have abandoned plans to give workers day-one protection against unfair dismissal in a bid to ensure it’s Employment Rights Bill makes it through Parliament 👇

I’m not joking when I say that I find the not being talked to or needed by anyone of electrolysis deeply relaxing. At one point Only You by Yazoo came on and I was like ah yeah, that’s the good stuff, I’m going to be literally asleep in a minute.

the bbc changed their article from saying 'trans woman' to saying 'biological male who identifies as a woman'.

even if you don't care about trans ppl it should alarm you just how captured the bbc has become.

they will no longer even say 'trans woman'. that's not normal and shows massive bias.

Curious how Sophia, (remember a teenager who wasn't on trial), being arrested by EIGHT officers didn't make front page news. She didn't get a supportive statement from the PM or the Free Speech Union for some reason
Here's a thread from Twitter shared with Sophia's permission in which she finally is able to talk about Graham using the police as HIS personal goon squad and getting Sophia arrested at home by EIGHT armed police officers, somewhat putting the standard Heathrow armed cops in perspective.

Film 259 of 2025: Freaky Tales

The definition of style over substance, but that isn’t always the worst thing
A ★★★ review of Freaky Tales (2024)
Sits in a consistently satisfying catharsis zone, but the anthology structure stops any of the stories from really going anywhere.

I wonder if I spent all day, every day, for years, calling Graham Linehan - or the judge - a nonce and then, when I saw him in the street screamed it in his face and smashed his phone, would a judge find I had done no harassing?

And that's not even factoring in the age of his victim

Hello everyone I have to be a victim-witness in a trial at the magistrates court in a few months, for harassment and assault. As I’m sure you can imagine, my mood at this precise moment in time is absolutely wonderful.

The UK courts are being used to further harassment of transphobes victims and the judiciary either is too stupid to understand that or doesn't care.

Doubtless it will be ignored by Simonoff et al, who are not even measuring this in the “Pathways” study.
