I was looking into when certain propaganda buzzwords took hold and it looks like the replies to this tweet from December 2022 are the origin story of "sterilising and mutilating", possibly boosted by mocking the repetitive structure of the original tweet.

If you think pointlessly complaining about a valid spelling correction is the craziest thing about this screenshot, I suggest taking a closer look.

This covers everything I would be able to tell you about Keir Starmer.

I see the "lesbians don't have penises, simples" brigade have suddenly become geneticists again with a speciality in developmental pathways.

This wasn't a dark joke, by the way. The movie's the same up to the point where Seymour rescues Audrey from the plant, but in this version she's mortally wounded and makes a dying wish to feed her to Audrey 2, who then also eats Seymour and spawns lots of clones that take over America.
My attempt to channel some childhood innocence by rewatching Little Shop of Horrors for the millionth time was symbolically thwarted by not realising a Director's Cut had been released in the intervening years with a different ending where Seymour feeds Audrey to the plant then attempts suicide.

Just in the last two months, ChatGPT has correctly diagnosed and helped me fix a malfunctioning air conditioner, shower, toilet and water tank. I suppose I should have waited for my landlord to fix those things as the temperature reached 46 degrees.

This post continues to single-handedly defeat every single anti-AI argument. (By "anti-AI," I'm referring to a generic opposition to all its forms. Using any tool for evil remains evil.)
Counterpoint to that viral Suno post about the guy too lazy to prompt.

I prefer my music the old-fashioned, authentic way: A gameshow-winning model performing auto-tuned karaoke over a track assembled by a committee of ghostwriters and producers with Pro Tools, based around samples of someone else's song and featuring a non-consensual cameo from a dead 90s rapper.

I should have clarified at the time that the answer is "no," for those apparently still convinced that AI is anything other than a collective term for a genre of technology as vague as "computers" or "the internet".
Ancient philosophical conundrum: If you take a fully-charged laptop into a forest with no wi-fi, and use the graphics card to locally run an open-source Stable Diffusion GenAI model trained on public domain images, does a tech corporation still need to bulldoze the forest to build a data centre?

Periodic reminder that Glinner threatened pre-Elon Twitter with police and lawyers to get me banned, and Elon's Twitter has refused to ever restore my account. I'm literally not allowed to use the site because this guy silences his critics.

Having a hard time processing the idea that raping children is apparently such a popular pastime that it's only the lack of hush money and private islands holding people back. Is that what motivates people becoming billionaires in the first place? Are they like "Finally!"?

Oh no, The British Museum posted some AI images. What next, did someone watch a pirated movie on Epstein's island?

Don't worry Maya, I'm sure it wasn't a landmark ruling. Other than in the folk meaning, of course.
Hey now! I have it on good authority that when terf lawyers (in this case, Joanna Cherry) describe cases as "landmark", they're simply being folksy.

I continue to use AI for lots of things at apparent odds with these leftists that they have now, but I'm noticing that a lot of the opposition to the technology seems aimed at generating written content, something I cannot imagine ever wanting or needing to do.
