Nondisabled people got asked to stay home for two weeks and wear a mask for a handful of months and went and did a fascism about it.

Sincerely, folks in the dominant (especially white) paradigm can’t stand the idea of taking care of each other. They’d rather destroy themselves.
Sometimes I think about what I learned from RWA and what it means for this country, and the lesson I learned is that some white people would rather burn down everything they have than be inclusive.

Would this be a similar social crisis if it happened to women consistently for decades and decades and decades, and would it be appropriate in that case to take countervailing action rather than categorically oppose all countervailing action, is a question that occurs to me for no particular reason
Young women are now consistently earning more than their male counterparts for the first time, according to a report that warns of a social “crisis” gripping young men

They’re also firing generals and attorneys for the crime of not being male.
Our white supremacist rapist president had his unqualified, white supremacist, drunken rapist Defense secretary fire generals and attorneys on a Friday evening for the crimes of not being white and/or not being loyalist "yes" men willing to sign off on crimes.

Being a Black person and being a woman makes a person DEI, apparently. Not a DEI hire, but DEI itself. Per the NYT.
By accepting Trump’s anti-Black premise and regurgitating the narrative that equates anything Black as DEI, the NY Times has become part of the propaganda machine

In reality, the Nahua peoples who spoke of "Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl" didn't use that name for what's now the Gulf of Mexico. Instead, that name means "the Fresh Water of Chalchiuhtlicue," and it refers to her mansion in the midst of the cosmic sea, to the east the sea-ringed world.

I'll explain.

1/
The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

His mother called him “little valentine” and so he chose to celebrate on Valentine’s Day.

Happy birthday, Frederick Douglass 💜

Get really familiar with this concept because that's what is happening right now. We will no longer have free and fair elections. Democracy is dead. It was murdered in broad daylight by a TV gameshow host and a ketamine addled afrikaaner man child.

I know everyone loves this article right now and people absolutely should get off the internet and into the streets, if they can.

But ALSO writing about and documenting fascism in an accessible way is vital work that is materially different from BlueAnon doombait.

But perhaps the greatest of these sins is convincing ourselves that posting is a form of political activism” www.404media.co/you-cant-pos...
You Can’t Post Your Way Out of Fascism
Authoritarians and tech CEOs now share the same goal: to keep us locked in an eternal doomscroll instead of organizing against them, Janus Rose writes.

Once again, way too many people appear to have forgotten that the reason strikes and labour laws exist is not because workers need to be coddled but because they were the less messy alternative to the factory owner getting burnt alive inside his home by the workers
Trump already empowering the worst bosses to just.. ignore labor law.

Whole Foods workers won their union vote, and now Whole Foods (owned by Jeff Bezos) is saying they simply won't recognize the vote because nobody is going to make them.
