The kid & I got tattoos on our inner wrists a few months ago but they healed badly. They were spotty & faded immediately. We went to a different shop earlier this week to have them redone. I am so happy with how crisp they are now. The kid’s stars are much larger, but the same design 😊

Would anyone be interested in a ribbon skirt with a kind of nautical theme? Fabric 1 would be the skirt, with fabric 2 being the design & pockets. Fabric 1 is a light flannel & would be a little warmer, so not great for hot weather. Let me know!!

Yay! Skirt has been sold! I will be making more this week and will post when they are completed.

If you are looking for a ribbon skirt, or just a long custom designed skirt, let me know!
Skirt is done! I love it! I added a video so you can see it a bit better than photos. It would fit a large or possibly extra large waist, so possibly size 12-14-ish. It is 35 inches long and had sneaky hidden POCKETS!!

If you are interested, let me know!

My heart is absolutely broken about the school shooting in Tumbler Ridge. I never thought such a thing could happen in Canada. As a parent who raised their child in the US, that was always my fear.

My love, and support goes out to all the family, friends, and everyone impacted by this.

Ran to the bakery next door to grab a few things

Cashier: I love your hair! It’s gorgeous!
Me: Thanks, I didn’t brush it. Or wash it 😆

I went to my storage unit to dig out my jewelry making stuff! Going from a house to an apt is difficult when you are used to spreading your art all over. But, like the ribbon skirt earlier, I had an idea for a necklace. Each piece is taking forever, but I hope to have it done tomorrow sometime.

Are people honestly complaining about the new Canadian passports? I saw one person said the old cover was “classier” lol No one is looking at it. People who stamp them open them, stamp it, & move on. They aren’t admiring the cover. They change them every 10 years to help stop counterfeiting.

Ladies, just needed to break some bad news… some men on IG have decided they don’t like tattoos on women. They make us cheap, & easy.

Whatever you do, make sure you get as many tattoos as you can to repel men, except that one guy. He wanted me to know he is gay but also hates tattooes on women.

I just can’t get over Catherine O’Hara’s passing. Her characters were unique, goofy, funny, brilliant, warm, courageous. Her brilliance in creating them, was so beyond just a gift. As Canadians we feel as though she was part of our families, part of our lives.

Tell John Candy we say hi ❤️

I don’t even know how to take this news she is a Canadian treasure, an icon, someone we all felt we knew. I grew up watching her brilliance and the world is a much darker place without her in it.

RIP Ms O’Hara

Just picked up my Grandmother’s ring from my jeweler’s. I needed the prongs replaced & to have it cleaned. My Mum bought it for my Nanny (that’s actually what we called her), when she was young. I haven’t worn it for years as I was afraid I would lose the stone (peridot). I am so happy to wear it❤️

Soooo I was thinking of doing another podcast. In addition to the one I already have. Short episodes, starting with crimes in Canada. I already wrote and recorded one, have the name, and the intro, outro, and background music.

Thoughts? Opinions? Possible interest?

Every time I see men claim that ALL women are bad drivers (research has proven that 70-75% of accidents are actually caused by men), I now reply that all men are rapists.

Their heads explode.
