I reviewed Bruce Springsteen’s “Twilight Hours”, one of 7 albums in the “Tracks II” box. The Boss croons like the Chairman of the Board, and that ain’t bad, Jack. (I love it.)

Let’s call MAHA what it is. Mass murder via denial of access to and dissuasion from using life saving medicine.

These are the same bastards who accused Obamacare of having insurance death panels for your grandma.
One of the things that's wild about MAHA on social media is they're also vilifying Pedialyte and Ensure.

So not only do they want you to not do anything that can stop you from getting sick (masking, vaccinating) they also don't want you to effectively treat yourself once you are sick.

Let’s go, Sen.-elect Hardman!

Tonight, Iowans rejected GOP chaos by blocking Republicans from restoring a supermajority in the Iowa Senate AND made history by electing her as the first Black woman to serve in the chamber.
BREAKING: Democrats just BLOCKED the GOP from restoring a supermajority in the Iowa Senate!

We broke Republicans’ hold on the chamber when Democrats flipped seats earlier this year, and tonight, Sen.-elect Renee Hardman's special election win ensured that progress is protected.

I am fully convinced that the editors of the NYT have Memento disease and live inside an abandoned version of the It's A Small World ride filled only with replicas of Republican voters
i don't have the time right now, but i bet if you search for any of these people, the NYT has already spoken to them in the past for similarish pieces.

The reflexive defensiveness from people at gigantic, multi-billion dollar news organizations with thousands of employees is fascinating. "Oh, you expect us to be aware that the president announced a land strike on Venezuela the day after a holiday????"

Yes? I do?

A small number of people whose extreme wealth exerts a political gravitational force that distorts the entire political system is bad, actually. It has been recognized as a threat to free liberal republican government since the first time it emerged in the Gilded Age.

A first today: Saw an Asshole Mobile (Cybertruck) driven by a woman. True to the brand, she was blocking the middle of a parking lane at Costco waiting for a space to open up, and nobody could get by or around her.

All to screw with mail ballots.
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

Peter Thiel’s Christmas party had an odd theme this year: “all things Britain.” (per NYT)

As Trump sunsets and backlash builds, expect a focus shift to the UK—where some see brighter possibilities for fascism, network states, and monarchies.

This is a brilliant thread. It rips up a woefully inadequate guide to AI for teachers. In fact, the thread rips up the manual, stomps on it, and then throws it in the dumpster.
Thanks for sharing this document, @rweingarten.bsky.social.

I read it, and I believe it's inexcusably inadequate and will not prepare teachers or schools to confront the very real dangers of the "A.i." products pushed by your partners, including OpenAI.

A few thoughts for your consideration...
