🙏 watch! @kylec.bsky.social you really nailed it with this piece and everything it embodies beyond the screen. Well done, man. Cheers
Watching this back almost makes me emotional. People are good. People care about their neighbors. People also care about people they’ll never meet. Here’s how $5 donations added up to $3M in proof of that this year, week after week.

Watched the show tonight & was so uplifted at a moment I was feeling kinda low. Great reminder that there are a lot more good people out there than it feels like sometimes. Amazing that the total given is now over $17 million!! Time to update that $ amount in your bio here & on Twitter!

This is what it’s all about. When so many give a little, it becomes a lot very quickly. Your $5 became a mountain of generosity.
I always felt bad because I would give $5 here, $10 there. Now seeing the accumulated amount because people care is good to hear. Makes it easier

Light to the world! Merry Christmas!

Brought a battery candle for the little one not knowing if she’d be ready for a real candle this year. She ended up going with one in each hand. Never too much joy or light in this world.

67 people-tracking Flock cameras across the U.S. were live-streaming on the internet, easily accessible with no login needed, @404media.co & @bennjordan.bsky.social found.

We know of five compromised Flock cams in Colorado.

One belongs to Douglas County, and it's at an open space trailhead.

Trump’s vow to retaliate against Colorado puts Rs here in a tight spot as Trump targets everything from disaster aid to science funding.

Colorado Rs, from the establishment class to ultra MAGA, are now echoing a potentially tough sell to Coloradans: Colorado deserves punishment.

Largely lost in the busy news cycle lately is Douglas County’s proposal to reduce crime by punishing crime victims.

GOP commissioners, DA George Brauchler, and Sheriff Darren Weekly want to fine businesses if they don’t report shoplifting. How this would be enforced is unclear.

Ross Kaminsky’s “The Trump everything” leads me back to a question… do the people who’ve made glorifying and praising Trump their personality then transfer that fealty to a President Vance or Rubio? Will they too be elevated to “Dear Leader,” as Ross writes? open.substack.com/pub/rosskami...

About 85,000 Xcel customers don't have power tonight. Some haven't had power for days and might not have power for days more.

A widower told us he doesn't like to leave his home. It's filled with memories of his wife. But he couldn't take the cold. @spencersoicher.bsky.social reports:
