We have been rightly afraid of the threat of bad actors using AI to create disinformation.

It's appalling that one of the first of those bad actors is in the White House. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

Signs about the history of slavery in the U.S. and the 9 people George Washington enslaved are being removed right now at the President’s House Site in Philadelphia, across from Independence Hall, months after the Trump administration threatend to do so.

How far we have not come in 250 years.

Not that anyone is likely to forget, but this is why we are fighting them in MN.
The ICE deaths we're not talking about

Trump's biggest concentration camp in Texas is rocked by 3 deaths in 33 days - one deemed 'homicide' after a violent encounter with guards. The ICE detention death rate is 10X (!!) Biden's final year

People are dying in Trump’s squalid concentration camps | Will Bunch
People are dying in ICE detention facilities at nearly 10 times the rate of the Biden years. It will likely get worse.

This is 100% FALSE. Immigration judges do NOT play any role in issuing administrative warrants. They are generated and signed by ICE officers themselves. ICE’s own training materials say they can’t be used for a search of a home!

Here’s a blank warrant form. Note who signs it.

“We got good reviews of that speech,” Trump told a Davos room full of fawning and applauding collaborationist American CEOs whom he’d kept waiting on their feet for over an hour. “Usually they say he’s a horrible dictator type person. But sometimes you need a dictator.”

Well, this is really something. A majority of *working class whites* disapprove of ICE, per new NYT poll.

Dovetails with the unpublished data that I got from Quinnipiac finding similar on working class more broadly (see below).

(cc @gelliottmorris.com )
Quinnipiac gave me unpublished data from new poll and it finds huge, huge, huge percentages of young and working class voters have seen video of Minneapolis shooting.

Majorities of both disapprove of ICE. Pundits are getting the working class/immigration wrong:

My take on the Jan 23 action in Minneapolis is that I don’t really care whether it’s a “true” general strike (we could argue about that all day).

What DOES matter is that it’s a bold and necessary escalation, and local labor leaders are publicly encouraging workers to join in anti-ICE resistance
