Congrats to all the dc pundit class who keep normalizing increasingly unhinged stuff.
Trump says the people who “thought Epstein was the greatest guy on earth, only to drop him like a dog when things got too HOT” are “sleazebags.”

Trump is criticizing people who…stopped hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein?

What is compelling The Times to repeat the obviously stupid things Trump says? “Protect Christmas” is braindead propaganda.

GOP operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, convicted election fraudsters, were paid $960,000 in the second quarter to secure a pardon for a former nursing-home operator who defrauded the government of $38 million. Trump pardoned the man, Joseph Schwartz, last month.
Inside the New Fast Track to a Presidential Pardon
Even some of the president’s closest advisers have been surprised by a number of the recent series of pardons.

Kind of wild how the take that some of Trump's supporters were "deplorable" was some huge scandal, but regularly screaming about "radical left scum" is just a thing he'll say with no media backlash.

"an internet witch hunt"

Every single named person in this article who spread ugly lies about the Brown shooting, even putting an innocent student in danger, is a Republican. One is even a top DOJ official.

This NYT headline makes it seem like it was an everybody problem. It was not.

Jimmy Kimmel appeared on British television screens on Christmas Day to deliver a so-called “alternative Christmas message,” in which he said tyranny was “booming” in the U.S.
Kimmel Tells U.K. Viewers ‘Tyranny Is Booming’ in America
Chosen by a British TV station to give an “alternative” to the king’s speech, Jimmy Kimmel said it had been a great year for the U.S. “from a fascism perspective.”

It's Christmas. You are attempting not to argue with your uncle who thinks Mossad plotted with undead John McCain and the Clintons to frame Trump for the Epstein stuff. Why not give him the gift of a new Congress that will make him totally fucking miserable?
alright, here's a slate of ten progressive House candidates from coast to coast and everywhere in between who I think could benefit from your cash:

This is John Roberts' America.
The blatant selling of pardons is perhaps the clearest instance of criminal conduct authorized by SCOTUS. Pardons are a quintessential "official act." So, even when Trump takes a bribe to issue one, he is presumably above the criminal law.
The president’s own chief of staff was reportedly stunned by his pardon of a former Honduran president.

So as is our tradition, Anyone Comics in BK and Everyone Comics at Queensboro Plaza will be there to entertain from 12-5pm and handing out free books for those who feel left out!

There's a lot of people I respect who cannot come to terms with the fact that this is what the American people voted for, they're getting it good and hard, and there is little to nothing a minority party can do to stop it.

Republicans ran on a platform of mass deportation and they're delivering.
This is outright Nazi stuff, and Democrats in Congress aren’t doing enough to try and stop it.
WaPo reports that ICE is planning 7 massive human warehouses holding 5,000 to 10,000 people.

Recalls the acting ICE director 2015 statement that he wanted to see a “business”-oriented approach to deportations, “like [Amazon] Prime, but with human beings”.

“Grace periods” for late-arriving mail ballots were not controversial until very recently. (Kansas lawmakers voted *163-1* for a grace period in 2017!)

But Trump wants them banned, so red states have lately rushed to help him. Ohio just joined the list:

Ohio Bans Grace Periods for Mail Ballots, Fulfilling Trump’s Wishes - Bolts
Ohio is the fourth GOP-run state this year to ban ballots that are postmarked by Election Day but arrive after. A Supreme Court case could force that policy nationwide next year.
