Trump on if he'll sign an Epstein files release bill: "We have nothing to do with Epstein. The Democrats do. All of his friends were Democrats. You look at this Reid Hoffman, Larry Summers, Clinton... all I want is I want for people to recognize the great job I've done on pricing, on affordability."

Big Fact like Big Pharna and Big Ag always lies about the harm it’s doing you.
Trump shamelessly lies: "Go to Walmart and other companies, and in every case it's about 25% that a Thanksgiving meal and surroundings are 25% lower. That's big fact."

It’s the post 9-11 torture memos redux - except with those unpunished outrages as the baseline from which they now escalate to the next level of bogusly “justified” lawlessness.
The memo purportedly justifying these murders also contains a lengthy section that lays out arguments defending the actions of those carrying out the strikes. In short, it *preemptively* defends them from potential prosecution later.

Experts say this is unusual. 2/

It's very interesting how the media pushed the line that arresting politicians 'makes you a banana republic' when the reverse is absolutely true.
History shows that democracies don’t survive when their leaders live above the law. This danger is magnified by Trump’s pardoning or promising to pardon people who’ve already committed crimes on his behalf, acts intended to benefit him politically or personally.

It’s true - nowhere in international law is distracting from Epstein considered a legit causus bellum.
emerging reports about possibly imminent US military attack on venezuela. there can be no doubt about it, certainly not in the coverage: such an attack would be an act of aggression, lacking any basis in international law. we'll get sophistic arguments about self-defense but none will be legit.
