US Troops killed all the guards at Dachau for this kind of shit.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

Both Neil Patrick Harris and Michelle Yeoh have basically said the same thing as Wim Wenders- everyone at Berlinale looks like they are in a hostage video I swear
I love Arundhati Roy's courage, integrity, intelligence, and her artistry as a writer of fiction & nonfiction.

Wim Wenders, the jury chair, on being questioned about Gaza, said filmmakers have to stay out of politics. Roy said a genocide demands a response from everyone, artists included. I agree.

An essential part of the term “blood libel” is that it was an accusation made against Jews with no proof or evidence. Those accusing the state of Israel of committing genocide have marshaled extensive evidence. It demeans the term “blood libel” to compare them.

Labour's Manifesto promised to ban conversion therapy. But I defy anyone to explain how, looking at the totality of its policy platform, Labour's real policy is anything other than promoting desistance.
Labour continues to troll the trans community - and to prioritise pleasing the right wing press. We know Hilary Cass was selected for her transphobic views: Kemi Badenoch told us exactly that.

So why is she running trans policy for Labour?

In the 1800's this was identified as the Urinary Leash bc there were very few public toilets made for women at the time for reasons of "protection and decency"

It served to trap women by keeping them out of public life and dependent

Limiting bathroom access has always been a tool of oppression
The end result of this is not that you don't get to use your choice of bathroom - it's that you don't get to use the bathroom at all.

Suddenly, you have to plan every trip with this in mind. Where are the toilets you know are safe? How long can you go without needing to use one?

"Racist people are firing and laying off Black women at three times the rate of other women."

😬Yikes! It sounds bad when you say it like that!

"Black women are losing jobs at 3 times the rate."

Much better! Makes it sound like the Black women just need to be more careful or better at their jobs!
Black Women Are Losing Jobs At Three Times The Rate Of Other Women | Essence
New labor data shows Black women accounted for a disproportionate share of job losses across 2025, especially in federal, education, and care-sector roles.

Even though more of the worst of this stuff is trickling out with each Epstein file release, I'm still serious: if you share any of the pro-child abuse alt-right billionaire docs in my mentions, I will block you.

That stuff cannot be unseen or unread, and yes, it is that bad. Yes, they are serious.
Yup.

CW: child abuse
I told y'all that Project 2025 is just the 5th draft of the plans that were circulating as early as 2013.

I honestly can't even engage with the topic of child "marriage," and how they intend to use that to bolster the white population.

Whatever you're thinking, it's worse.

I empathize with this person. I really do. But:

1) We tried to warn y'all about these fashy VC billionaire losers for decades. I didn't lose any heroes in the Epstein file revelations.🤷🏿‍♂️

2) The people I love don't "shrug or tacitly support" ethnic cleansing. Because the people I love, aren't nazis.
I’m going to be brutally honest and transparent for a minute.

Between the revelations of how much the imagery of our childhood was designed around high-ranking CEOs and billionaire class’s pedophilia, combined with the ICE concentration camps being retrofitted into warehouses across the country…

This ruling shows that proscribing Palestine Action was a grave misuse of terrorism laws.

Labour must accept its mistake, drop its appeal and stop wasting taxpayers' money suppressing civil liberties.

Degrading counter-terror powers is a genuine threat to national security.

The proscription of Palestine Action was unlawful, but we also shouldn't forget that the manner in which the proscription was enforced was blisteringly stupid. Continuing to arrest grandmothers for holding signs was a massive waste of police resources and did nothing to deal with the supposed threat
