Can't remember if I've posted this, but one of the first times I visited the town in which I now live this was tied with a ribbon to the bridge from the train station.
I still find comfort in reading it occasionally. A beautiful sentiment from a stranger who'll never know how much it meant to me.

It’s so difficult to say what “the news” is these days: newspapers and front pages seem largely irrelevant, the BBC is ignored or castigated by so many, and social media is so siloed that “current affairs” seems to exist in multiple separate iterations
I'm guessing the BBC 'scandal' has been big on X this week as this was the first I had heard of it...

I hate how confining my anxiety and agoraphobia have made my life lately.
Getting out my front door feels impossible and my world keeps shrinking as fear has became overwhelming.
I miss feeling comfortable enough to go out without the phobia that any interaction could end in an attack.

It is utterly insane to claim that BBC News has a “pro-trans bias”, when they are currently publishing articles in which they describe trans women as “a biological male who identifies as a woman”. That isn’t them quoting anyone, that is them choosing to use the language of gender critical bigots.
