I feel incredibly excited about the TGS episodes we have coming out over the next few months - guests have been so fun and engaging, and I’ve been learning an enormous amount. It really is a joy to do history out loud.

Halftime performance showed how most Latinos love America, even if some parts of America do not love them back.

It showed the reality that Latinos and Spanish are part of America's culture, its history, present & future.
As references to salsa show, this is not a new phenomenon but a good reminder.
Bad Bunny brought Puerto Rico to the Bay during his Super Bowl LX halftime show on Sunday.

I am vindicated
A Reddit user identifies the boy who took a Grammy from Bad Bunny in the halftime show as five-year-old model Lincoln Fox and says that he was meant to represent Bad Bunny as a child www.instagram.com/the_lincfox/... www.reddit.com/user/BabySea...

That was very much not Liam Ramos in Bad Bunny’s performance - his image has been plastered all over this site for weeks. Very strange thing to imagine.

The Crespo-Gonzalez family is home.

Our community refused to stay silent in the face of such an immoral, unethical detention. Now, we must continue speaking up for the countless other families and children imprisoned by Trump.

Stay loud.

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology
She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

I was just denied entry to the Dilley detention facility while my constituent, seven-year-old Diana, remains inside.

What kind of sick, horrific conditions are children being forced to endure in there?

I will be back tomorrow. Accountability can’t wait.

The public made noise for Liam Ramos and it got him released from Dilley.

Now we must make noise for 7 year old Diana Crespo.

Her parents were taking her for emergency medical care when ICE grabbed them, and she’s rotting in the camp sick and exposed to measles.

Get them out!
