Enjoy the inevitable lawsuits, you bigoted ghoul.
“I’ve been hearing that standards will be eliminated or severely cut back. Bari has told people that she wants to get rid of standards and is shocked that they have so much power. She also asked openly, ‘What’s the point of standards?’” one CBS source said.

Random thought: There's been significant growth in people, particularly women, embracing paganism or spirituality in the past 10-15 years (I myself am a practicing druid). And while there are SO many valid, studied reasons for that – rejecting patriarchy, wanting to reconnect with nature, etc...

Sometimes I think about the fact that billionaires are destroying the planet to push a technology whose entire purpose is to be a shoddy imitation of everything *that human beings already do* and I feel like I might start screaming and never stop.

Not gamedev, but *stares in digital media freelancer*
Many freelancers in the United States rely on ACA marketplace plans for their health insurance. In an industry that has already been working overtime to turn gamedevs into gig workers, freelance and contract devs are about to get even more squeezed. This is unacceptable.

Couple of things:

1. Boy, I'm tired of the people who rant against "socialism" not even understanding what it is and thinking it's the same thing as communism.

Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

I got this useful bon mot from a middle school teacher recently.

In response to, “I DONT UNDERSTAND,” he calmly said, “okay what steps have you taken to understand?”

And that’s when I realized that a lot of folks have no steps.

A Russian blogger shared that many Russians do not realize how many Russian soldiers are dying in the war against Ukraine.

"For these two small cities [Pokrovsk and Bakhmut], Russia has already killed 80-100 thousand of its own soldiers. It wasn't Ukraine that killed them, it was Russia," he says.

Is it, Sam? IS it? Democrats will always bail out Republicans, because they're spineless and out of touch.
It is fucking insane to me that senate democrats bailed him out
Trump to air traffic controllers: "For those that did nothing but complain, and took time off, even though everyone knew they would be paid, IN FULL, shortly into the future, I am NOT HAPPY WITH YOU. You didn’t step up to help the U.S.A. against the FAKE DEMOCRAT ATTACK"
