I've kept "I hate myself, I hate clover, and I hate bees" pinned above my desk since I first started studying evolutionary biology as an undergraduate. So relatable to get extremely frustrated with your study system.

Complaints that specifically cited problems with the way treatment had been provided constituted around five per cent of all complaints made in that time. They represented 0.06 per cent of the 12,000 service users the clinic was believed to have been treating on average. The journalists noted that the majority of the eight complaints filed were over fears that ongoing treatment for patients could be suddenly rescinded.

There needs to be an end to this "Downing Street has said" shit in political journalism. A person said this in the capacity of an official statement, their name should be with it. UK citizens are entitled to know who speaks on behalf of their government.

Every once in a while, I'm reminded of this absolute Banger of a viral tumblr post I accidentally created back in 2012

A comment by IAmIngrid: "Half-Mourning was the third stage of mourning for a widow. She would be expected to mourn her husband for at least two years, the stages being Full Mourning, Second Mourning and Half-Mourning. The different stages regulated what they would be wearing, with Full Mourning being all black and with no ornamentation, including the wodow’s veil, and the stages after that introducing some jewellery and modest ornamentation.
