Can we get a comment from any of the journos who were adamant that Scottish Labour could never again be seen as a branch office

It wasn't serious enough to suspend her for until the London office suspended someone for the same thing

Also, I know the channel I used to speak to Wes on, and it wasn't WhatsApp. Will he swear an oath that he's disclosed all his private communications? Not just those on WhatsApp?

In Streeting’s supposedly exonerating messages, he’s still trying to get this guy a job with another paedophile connected Labour Lord

I spent a long time trying to figure out what to do with my Harry Potter books, because just dumping them in a little free library felt wrong. So I mailed them to this artist who was turning them into portraits of murdered trans women

If you don't teach your kids how to behave in public they'll grow into the kind of adults who shout at serving staff and play videos out loud on the train, but it's totally your call

If every rape case got as much victim-friendly media coverage as a rape committed by an asylum seeker does, we might actually get somewhere in the fight against sexual violence

You know, the Labour peer who was key to Starmer's operation and was mates with a paedophile even after they found out about.

No, not him, the other one.

First time I've ever said this, but I feel a bit sorry for Sarwar. He was clearly told if he went over the parapet everyone else, especially Eluned Morgan, would follow.

Typical political nous from him though!

Yeah I couldn't have told you where it was from, I had the vague impression it was Harry Enfield! But obviously I know the meme

I'm not admitting I'm in a bubble but I am surprised that the How Do You Do Fellow Kids meme was a pointless answer on Pointless

All over the world. This round was initiated in Australia, and massively boosted by the U.K. government.
I’m glad to see people protesting Discord forcing IDs for age verification, but what I need everyone to understand is that there’s immense bipartisan pressure to make the entire internet like this, and they are likely going to succeed unless something drastic happens

Absolutely corking defence - "I took my four kids to paedo island and didn't leave a single one behind there"
VAN HOLLEN: Did you in fact make the visit to Epstein's private island?

LUTNICK: I did have lunch w/ him as I was on a boat going across on a family vacation. My wife was with me as were my 4 children and nannies. We had lunch on the island. That's true. For an hour. We left with all of my children

Lol sorry, I can see that makes all the difference

Me, at home in Govan, definitely more insulated from real life than (checks notes) the 30-year veteran Westminster journalist whose dad was the editor of the Sun and the News of thr World

Yeah, I'm unconvinced by the immigration claim, and as you say, the climate change stuff is just pointless. Gives the impression they'd rather govern a dead planet than keep it alive...

FT journalist: "Hard to argue with that, frankly"

"all we have to do is drown people, it's so simple! Sadly my opponents have been radicalised against murder :("
February 10, 2026 at 3:48 PM
Hah, I didn't read the whole thing so I originally missed that this valuable piece of political analysis - according to the FT's chief political commentator - includes the author calling people he doesn't like "red-green-yellow-troon-loon-ScotNat-Hamas coalition clownshow"

New bio??

Never ceases to impress me how journalists say journalism is crucial to a functioning democracy but also has no impact whatsoever on anything

1. Assume the results of "research" done by Dom Cummings for his blog are reasonable and valid

2. Assume his analysis of the results is good faith

3. Assume the public's views on things like immigration and benefits aren't affected by media and political narratives

🌟 Journalism 🌟
You may not like it, but strip out the hyperbole and abuse and it's quite hard to argue with this Cummings asssessment of the public mood
