Right. If you say anything at all about how utterly shit and reactionary Labour are right now, you are guaranteed to get some smug shiny-brained dickhead popping up to tell you you're enabling Reform. And here's the thing.

related to this; when "Male gaze" became a pejorative I was kind of realizing no one actually understood the critique, much like the Bechdel test, in that it was an observation of a subconscious bias everyone repeats without thinking. If you *intend* on a male audience, the male gaze is successful!
The thing is like if we want to fight back against prudery and sex negativity we also have to stop referring to stuff as 'gooner art' and accept that nsfw shit that reads as 'for the male gaze' has as much a right to exist as your favourite yaoi

*maximum alpha at 1.25x speed* continuously lives on in my head, unfortunately.

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"
China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.

Just fucking George Costanza it. Have him turn up to MI5 like nothing happened.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Sultana on Monday offered to transfer £600,000 from a company which the party’s founders set up earlier this year, only to be rebuffed by allies of Corbyn who accused her of playing “political games” with supporters’ money. Continue reading...
