I have, obviously, been thinking about Dan a whole lot in the past week. Every story about him is the same, in a way: this guy cared So Much. About everything and everybody—he just cared. It won't be the same without him, but damn if I won't try to care a lot more now. Rest easy.
I've been thinking lately about the idea of "cringe". Dan was the exact opposite of that.
