I want to know whether we get tariff refunds on things and also want to know if any prices will go down (lol)
So the bottom line is a 6–3 decision that Trump's tariffs are unlawful. All six join key parts of the opinion invalidating them.

There is a 3–3 split about whether to invoke the major questions doctrine, with the liberals saying no.

The majority does not say whether tariff refunds are now owed!

I’m glad about the tariff decision don’t get me wrong, but I know at least 2 people who had to declare bankruptcy and a whole bunch more who lost their entire businesses to this bullshit. Where to they go for restitution for having their lives ruined by an unconstitutional tax levied against them?

last night, a man emailed us mildly panicked because they'd run out of whistles before a big event they had on Sunday.

someone is dropping 1,000 whistles off with him today.

that's just in the last 48 hours, stuff like this happens ALL THE TIME. we're solving small, local problems constantly.

Kissinger, too. Very different world if he had been subjected to even one (1) consequence.
This is actually one of the major turning points that got us where we are today. The infantalisation of the American public ("bloo bloo Americans would be traumatised by seeing a President in the dock!") stunted the maturing of our democracy *just* as we were reforming it root and branch.
I have really come to believe that we'd be in a much better place right now if we had put Nixon away in a dingy cell for the rest of his natural life, instead of the slap on the wrist for being naughty that he actually received.

Lol 13 hours is SO LONG in internet outage time. Mayhap we should not have fired the people who know what they’re doing 😬
Sources: Amazon's AI tools caused at least two AWS outages, including a 13-hour disruption in December after its Kiro AI deleted and recreated an environment (Rafe Rosner-Uddin/Financial Times)

We caught the middle of ice dancing the other day during birthday lunch and at every pair my 9 year old asked suspiciously if “those guys are gonna kiss” and tbh I’m now dying to have him predict medal winners based on how much he thinks they’re gonna kiss lol

This first wishlist belongs to a printer in Minnesota AND has protopasta on it, so win/win???

People have started to come back to the Instagram video from last week to say they got their bobbins and they’re real and really packaged and shipped by a person and y’all…it is so rough out here on ye olde internet during the fall of capitalism 😭

I was able to get an RSV vaccine because of being immunocompromised and I almost never get respiratory funk anymore, even when the kids are on their 4th school infection of the winter. It has so drastically improved my life that I recommend it to everyone.

Anyway reason 673 I hate these assholes.

I hear we’re bashing Luddites again so: they were not against “progress”, they were against DANGEROUS “progress” that had almost zero guardrails or oversight at the cost of human lives. Now wait, I have heard that somewhere before…let me think about it…

This is actually true, a lot of the whistle goblins are like "did we stop getting requests???" because they are being claimed so fast, but we did NOT stop getting requests, we're shipping out 30,000 - 40,000 whistles a day. LOL

We're just running that smoothly!
No no, we already *have* distributed hundreds of thousands of whistles! Over half a million just in February, and we're far from capacity (most of the requests we received are claimed by someone who can ship them out in about 30-45 seconds right now)

My husband: until this moment I did not know there was a snake called Titanoboa

just said uuuhhhhhh???? aloud, to no one, for like 30 seconds straight
Hmm. The US is giving $10 billion in taxpayer dollars, not appropriated by Congress, to a fake board set up by the President and which he put himself in charge of *for life*... seems very, very illegal.
Trump: "I want to let you know that United States is going to make a contribution of $10 billion to the Board of Peace." (Congress has not appropriated this money!)

Hey everyone, Green Lantern is one of our printers who is in dire need of filament right now. They are going through about 28 kg of filament a week (about 50,000 whistles).

Fellow non-asshole parents of trans kids, this one is on us to collect, so please allow me to say that while I would never wish this grief on any parent, you can be deeply grieving and also be a COLOSSAL shithead, as is the case here.
