I fear she’s done it again (cast on another sweater lol). In my defense, Kid 1 has very suddenly outgrown all of his sweaters, a fact we had a crisis about at 7:13 this morning because “it’s COLD and I want to wear one of YOUR SWEATERS I hate the ZIP UP KIND” (this is news to me) so 🧶 #knitting

A lot of people are mad at Schumer for saying this. But he's right. Democrats don't control a single branch of government and they can't pass anything. Only Republicans can rein in Trump because they control both chambers of Congress. Democrats have no cards to play here.

If my insurer uses step therapy to hold my Rx hostage, I don't owe them honesty. They can make me fill a prescription, they can't make me swallow the pill and they can't tell if I vomited afterward. One of the more radicalizing things that’s ever happened to me was meeting kids who went to schools in more affluent places who did NOT have an active JROTC program and military recruiters allowed to set up tables at their school. The only reason they didn’t have a dedicated office was space.
Just hit the Gen Z/Gen Alpha with this meme and they’ll forever be skeptical of the military recrooters.
