Congressional Republicans gave Trump a slush fund for ICE and CBP in the "Big Beautiful Bill." Tens of billions of dollars that is still usable even during a shutdown.
Democrats must make rescinding that money the price of any future govt funding, as Republicans did with IRS money from the IRA.

While Jeff Bezos gets ready to dismantle what's left of The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer is thriving and profitable under nonprofit ownership. Since Bezos has obviously lost interest in his newspaper, the decent thing for him to do would be to donate it to a foundation.

I know this is small potatoes in the grand scheme of things but these guys are paid with your tax money and have no real job. ICE isn't necessary. They don't get rid of criminals. They just terrorize communities. And THAT'S why they should be abolished. No need for reins. It's not a job!

I've been sent video from the end of the ICE raid at the Zipps on 32nd and Shea.
It shows protesters -- on the sidewalk, impeding no one -- getting drive-by maced by an ICE agent from a truck as it rolls away down the road.
Hard to see how such tactics are justifiable.
