Yeah, this would be a good way to conceptualize some stuff I'm seeing.
It's obviously fine to be disappointed with any story but there have been some outsized negative reactions to things that don't make a lot of sense except as channeling fear & anger. And people making wild accusations at creators that are really unhealthy.

I've found very few exceptions to this. I'm often told this is a sign of immaturity but I'm old & I find I don't care whether most folks think I'm immature.
Once I found out they were absolute cunts, I stopped being able to enjoy their work.

Not even the prompts. If you are a Twitter user in the UK and Twitter sticks a Grok CSAM image in your feed for WHATEVER reason, well congrats your device just downloaded child porn. And you are legally responsible for that.
Even if nobody wants to take action against Musk for building a CSAM generator, there are people using it who are based in the UK and those prompts are absolutely something that would get you on the sex offender's register. Absolutely no justification not to try to identify and prosecute users.
