What is truly pathetic about Labour is that this is all they have got. They have failed so spectacularly already, despite a whacking great majority, to even attempt to govern positively that all they have is punching down on marginalised groups and saying "oh but Reform will be worse".

"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

reading marlowe's doctor faustus and i think u could do a really funny one man production with no textual cuts in which everyone he interacts with is online, apart from Mephistopheles who is chatgpt and helen (grok waifu)

This is the institutional version of 'writing is thinking' - ideas need to interact with the world to breathe and take form. If your communication is stunted, so is the response to that communication, and ultimately so is your thought process.

wuthering heights 2026 looks amazing imo. does it look tonally faithful? uhh no. but if you're adapting anything that has been adapted a dozen times already you may as well do a 'im staring at a 70s romance novel paperback after taking acid' spin on it. i want a parades end that looks like this.

Gee whizz, would you look at what we’re noticing now. And about the comms office specifically! I guess everyone was just busy for several years, or mysteriously demotivated about looking too closely.

The crisis of elite impunity that is ruining our society cannot be more clearly or convincingly demonstrated than with the fact that all of these people wrote all this stuff into an email and hit Send.

this is the thing i am most grateful to my mum for - I think getting me hooked on reading early in my life is like the most meaningful event for me. Any success i've had and so much of where i draw value in life from comes from that foundation
I think part of the problem is also like…the real way to teach people to read is to teach them to love reading so they do a ton of it and figure it out for themselves
