Okay so this is true *but* not in the way most people think. Antibiotic overuse is not “I had five ear infections in a year so I took antibiotics five times this year”

Although in fun news from science, in some ways antibiotics kinda are causing worsening disease as our overuse deepens resistance. There are people in hospitals right now dying of bugs which would have been treatable 20 years ago. Though something tells me this is not the point being made here

Referring to C2DE as a single social group has been a disaster for British political discourse
Getting increasingly irritated by people describing Reform as appealing to "working class voters" when every bit of polling suggests that's conflating low income and working class and what's actually happening is that pensioners are voting for them.

Tbf, Ed's got a lot on his plate being the new PM of Japan
I think this is right. Ed Davey is doing a marvellous job if you define his job as “win and hold as many seats as possible for the Lib Dems” and rather worse if you define it as “be the leading elected representative of Britain’s committed liberals”.

This has come up a bit, but regional identity is a bit of a different question (which we'll hope to address somewhen). Here, I wanted to solely explore the North vs South binary, plus the areas that explicitly reject it (which I had expected to be more present in Westcountry).

It's weird to poll this and not distinguish between a Midlands identity and an East Anglian identity
While some subscribe to the idea that the North begins at the Severn-Wash line, 78% of West Midlanders and 69% of East Midlanders consider themselves to be neither part of the North or South of England
