Wanted to do a "Games I've played" thread for this year. So, err, this is the starting post
As in she'll do better than expected in her first election?

I'm sure there'll be a fresh story indicating Labour have learned nothing any day now, but this ain't it

(This tweet is 9 months old. A big clue is that it literally says it right there next to the handle)
On Tuesday, Starmer's political director briefed Labour MPs on how government plans to fight Reform. She said:

- Reform voters are "our people" but "pissed off" with the state of the country
- At Runcorn, Farage mobilised habitual non-voters, while Labour voters stayed at home
- Comms must improve
Top Starmer Aide: Reform Voters Are 'Labour People' โ€“ They're Just 'Pissed Off'
Reform UK voters are โ€œour peopleโ€ but are โ€œpissed offโ€ with Keir Starmerโ€™s government, Labourโ€™s political director has said.

We're back with a one off poll ahead of Resident Evil's 30th anniversary next month.

Rank as many mainline (see image for what counts) Resident Evil games as you wish. If you strongly dislike a game, it is better not to rank it at all.

If you need help ranking, see follow-up tweet

Okay, Future 6 was a bit better
February 11, 2026 at 10:56 AM
Too much action filler, I really don't care about two dudes having a sword fight, I'm here for the drama and/or murder. Also, most of the characterisation for the new Future Arc characters is done in the Despair Arc anyway
February 11, 2026 at 10:24 AM
Okay, so is the general consensus that the Despair Arc is leagues better than the Future Arc? 'cos, ironically, I despair every time it switches to the Future Arc
A few episodes into Danganronpa 3 (the sequel anime, not the game)

Thoughts on the Future Arc so far: Boy, you can really tell Zero Escape was made by the same company

Thoughts on the Despair Arc so far: what the fuck?
Started with the adaptation of the first game, and it's making me appreciate how well localised the game was. Stuff like translating "Super High School Level" to "Ultimate". It loses some of its meaning, but the more accurate translation in English is just a mouthful

the whole thing is of course completely revolting. 20 YEARS to settlement for refugees? no settlement if youโ€™ve ever had a criminal conviction or a tax debt? 10 YEARS added if youโ€™ve ever received benefits? partners and children on their own routes to settlement? What are you even TALKING about

I think itโ€™s fine to keep them indoors, you just need to be much more active in providing them stimulation
February 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM
Tbf, if I lived on a busier road in the UK, Iโ€™d be more inclined to keep cats indoors too

I think itโ€™s a valid viewpoint in the States (+ keeping them indoors is for the catโ€™s own safety in a lot of places, which is less of a concern elsewhere), but applied to the UK itโ€™s based on blaming domesticated cats for the impact of feral cats

I think 7 is more replayable than itโ€™s given credit for, but itโ€™s still night and day compared to the remakes of 2 and 4. The reason the 4 remake stuck with me so much isnโ€™t just that it was good, but that I replayed it back to back three or four times when it came out
February 11, 2026 at 1:37 AM
Iโ€™m cautiously optimistic, but two concerns for me are: I didnโ€™t care for Village, and none of the recent non-remake titles have quite had that level of replayability I want from RE. The dual campaign setup has me expecting similar with this one
