Probably the film I have seen the most. I love it so much and its where my infatuation with Sam Rockwell began. "Look around you, can you form some sort of rudimentary lathe?" Is, for me, one of cinemas greatest comedic lines.

Spanish is effectively the second language of the United States and has been since whatever point in the 19th C. when the number of Spanish speakers we'd annexed surpassed the number of French speakers we'd annexed. About 1 in 5 can speak it and a large chunk more have some rudimentary familiarity.
Cannot believe this version of the Republican Party won a record number of Latino/Hispanic voters, this country is so cooked lol

I still randomly blurt out "can you form some sort of rudimentary lathe?" when I am all out of ideas!

Can we take the time to appreciate how stupid the subjects are for this town hall? These are rudimentary lazy topics of conversation.
"Has feminism failed women brought to you by bank of america" is my MKULTRA sleeper agent activation phrase

Also by learning a little bit of the local language you can converse with other non local people visiting from non anglophone places! I had a lovely rudimentary conversation in Spanish with a Japanese couple at Machu Picchu.
You get so much goodwill in non-Anglophone just by learning enough to introduce yourself and explain that you only know a little bit of their language. They appreciate that you made an effort.
almost every white American has picked up ~30-150 Spanish words without even trying. Jim fuckin Gaffigan can put Spanish jokes in without translating

There was no planetary feed (stupid planet) but Stupid Boat had its own rudimentary feed that was heavy with games and pornography but light on anything that might be helpful for a security assessment

the best thing about having debilitating, untreated ADHD is the potent hyperfixations that allow me to focus on making really cool shit nonstop for weeks on end
the bad part is having absolutely no say in what that hyperfixation will latch on to

now i'm creating a rudimentary god game in Furcadia.

Do you need to wrap a gift that's awkwardly shaped with sharp corners or protrusions? Try this tip:
1. Use thin cardboard, adhesive and bubble wrap to construct a rudimentary time machine.
2. Return to the moment right before you bought the fucking thing.
3. Buy something different.

I had big plans to mark the end of the year with a big post etc but I’m done in! It‘ll keep.

Thank you for keeping us so busy with orders for backdrop books this month. Clearly the premium Xmas gift of 2025!

A few things yet to do but ending my year as I mean to start the next.

This story inferred Tate's opponents skills were rudimentary. In other words, Tate, the Alpha, lost to a tomato can.

Surprising no one who's followed me long enough, it's Carpenter. But! I like to think he's a dab hand with tailoring, leatherworking, and rudimentary smithing because he'd need to make and mend a lot of things in the Wood when on his own.

The green shit is alchemy-adjacent. Mostly botany though.

as someone with pretty rudimentary drawing skills, it feels personally insulting every time i see someone say ~AI~ will help me ~express what's in my head~

yes, i am frustrated i don't have the proficiency to just draw what's in my head. that doesn't mean i'm going to outsource my creativity???

My insanely rudimentary concept drawings for the SuperCyclopdia entries in Jimmy Olsen’s SuperCyclopedia that I gave to @sandyjarrell.com for reference. AI is for suckers, cowards, losers and schmucks.

And this kind of garbage is everywhere in nu-trek: strange new worlds doesn’t understand basic legal or governmental concepts or that there’s a difference between Starfleet and the federations government, or how eugenics works, or what the word “optical” means, or rudimentary biology

Sword of Fargoal is an early 80s rougelike action RPG with rudimentary graphics and a fun twist - when you retrieve the fabled sword, a 2000-second timer starts ticking down and you have to escape as every monster in the dungeon tries to steal it from you!

the thing that gets me is how lazy the posts are. it's always "yup" or "nailed it" or "exactly". no evidence of even rudimentary critical thought

What's hard about this is it'll change all the time.

Stuff like Grammarly and ProWritingAid predate LLMs, but had algorithms and rudimentary "AI" (as did Microsoft Word's grammar check). Grammarly hopped on LLMs first, then PWA followed.

Outside of very basic word processors are all compromised.

He carries a needle, some yarn, and some rudimentary patches which he uses to make emergency repairs to torn or worn out clothing when they are on the road.

In town, they will usually visit a tailor for proper repairs, or replacement garments when necessary.

It’s difficult to describe quite how unChristian Trump is. He’s so unchristian that not even the most rudimentary elements of cultural Christianity have rubbed off on him. He seems incapable of even faking it.
