Had my colonoscopy today.
When they asked if I wanted to remove my Green Lantern cap I said:
“It will protect me by activating my power ring if someone tries to harvest my organs.”
They nodded understanding and/or fear and/or confusion.
Soon after I was safely in cryogenic colo-sleep.

If I'd ever had kids, I would tell my daughter to keep her birth name. Don't even hyphenate.
