Hank Green and Patton Oswalt are dutiful preservers of the traditional performance of the 2016 conservative "triggered lib" caricature; this is the only way to explain how embarrassing their rhetorical instincts are despite being so otherwise thoughtful and media-trained.
I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

Maybe I'm too cynical but I assume 99% of the numerous Palestinian-family-in-gaza fundraisers are scams/grifts preying on the well-meaning & that the money goes to someone in a totally different country/situation.
