The way these platforms have handled the censorship of this game is both a solidification of the past fifteen years of mounting audience aversion to being upset and a grim preview of how studios will handle the next decade in the arts.

it’s amazing how many people fundamentally do not grasp that the reason the world decided to *start* using international law to govern war is because most leaders at the time were able to grasp that LOAC made things less horrible for *everyone*
there is just absolutely no inkling that someday we might want the LOAC to protect our guys too

It's become normal now for high-level political figures to argue that an entire generation was brainwashed through fake videos into mass anti-Israel political mobilization by TikTok. Complete conspiracy thinking, rooted in zero evidence, based on nothing
Hillary Clinton blames TikTok and “totally made up” videos for young people’s views on Israel and Palestine.

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”

This is a really good New Republic article about trans people leaving the country. Do some research about getting visas. Start now. It is harder and slower than you think, and there are no opportunities for asylum right now. It also is entirely doable.

This is the case for all research/measuring, surveys just get the short straw because they are usually done by extremely untrained people who heard third-hand about this thing called "data" and have been tasked with producing some data, regardless of what it is or what it means. Sort of like NPS.
You might have heard about NPS. For those of you who don't, I'll briefly explain over the loud groans and boos from the rest of the audience.

NPS is this thing.

Everything about it is stupid but we're going to focus on one way in which it is stupid: it is a trailing indicator.

And, also, if you run a business that regularly purchases shipping supplies: ULINE is run by some of the worst people on Earth. Get your boxes and tape elsewhere.
Remember: don't eat the mid tier fast food chicken, don't play the wizard game, don't shop at the hobby store run by the bad guys from Indiana Jones, and don't donate to the bigot bucket.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season
