Broadview has modified its requirements, now saying that gas masks, helmets and other protective equipment will be allowed as well as bags/backpacks and coolers (which were also previously barred) at the protest today.
The other restricted items remain, including sign handle parameters.

Following the vandalism of at least 11 government vehicles or rentals driven by federal law enforcement at a hotel in Eagan, Minnesota last night, it's safe to say—you don't want to stay at a hotel that hosts ICE, or even park your vehicle there. You don't want to host them at your hotel, either.

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.
