Neither law enforcement nor Democrat politicians' hollow calls for minor reforms will protect us. Federal officials have already cast their lot with fascism.

We, too, must understand that the only options before us are revolution or autocracy.

It's safer in the front.

Just now, Rodney Scott, the commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, described anti-ICE protesters as "coordinated well-funded insurgencies" while testifying before the House of Representatives, calling for even more funding and legislation to enable them to violently repress US citizens.
February 10, 2026 at 4:57 PM
Why haven't federal agents begun widespread crackdowns on US citizens?

Simple: they are still busy kidnapping and deporting immigrants.

But as soon as they can, they will use the same infrastructure and tactics against you.

Fighting for immigrants is fighting to protect ourselves and each other.

Today marks one month since ICE mercenary Jonathan Ross murdered Renee Good.

It was not the first public execution ICE carried out. But because rapid responders caught it on film and angry locals forced ICE to withdraw after, there can be no question about what happened.

Resisting makes us safer.

Throughout the ICE raids, local and state police who answer to Democrat politicians have consistently done the dirty work to enable ICE to continue its campaign of ethnic cleansing.

Politicians who talk about "maintaining order" are complicit in this campaign of terror.

It's up to us. Just us.

On January 31, 50,000 people gathered in Turin in response to the eviction of the historic Askatasuna social center. The scale of the ensuing confrontations with the police shocked Italian society.

While fascism is gaining power around the world, we are also seeing a rising desire to revolt.

Trump has channeled billions of dollars to ICE for the express purpose of building a private army to scapegoat communities and repress political enemies. There is no appropriate role for ICE.

The road to fascism is paved with reforms that pacify people just long enough to tighten the vice.

If, under Adolf Hitler, the Nazis had been compelled to behave themselves more politely while they rounded up and disappeared people, if they had been discouraged from murdering German gentiles as they carried out the Holocaust, would that have addressed the problem? No.

ICE is ethnic cleansing.

Some described the movement against police and white supremacy that entered the public eye in May 2020 as a "failure" because it didn't win legislative changes.

But the Twin Cities have been able to resist ICE because of networks that developed then. Changing a broken system takes more than reform.

On August 12, 2017, Nazis and klansmen rallied in Charlottesville in support of Donald Trump and fascism. One of them murdered Heather Heyer.

What distinguishes that killing from the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti?

Only this: in 2026, fascists can murder on government payroll.

The classic non-profit / political party move is to find people willing to back a policy that is expedient for them, then claim to be representing the community, as if the community is a monolith.

We're not saying everyone *has* to use whistles, but nor should we let orgs represent "the community."

What is violence?

Is it tossing a tear gas canister back to the mercenaries who shot it at you?

Is it blowing a whistle at bounty hunters who are trying to abduct someone?

Perhaps, rather than asking whether an action is "violent," we should ask—

Does it perpetrate oppression? Or interrupt it?

We understand why non-profit organizations cannot engage in the sort of effective tactics that autonomous grassroots networks can.

But it is deeply irresponsible for them to try to prevent others from taking action to protect their neighbors—and worse still to frame this as concern for community.

Body cams? The mercenary who murdered Renee Good was filming when he shot her.

The entire purpose of ICE is to impose a totalitarian regime through ethnic cleansing.

Centrist compromises are underhanded attempts to pacify us while we advance further down the road to fascism.

Some nonprofit organizations have been trying to suppress the rapid response tactics that have emerged from LA, Chicago, and the Twin Cities.

ICE is kidnapping hundreds of thousands of people, ruining their lives. This is not a situation in which non-profits should be suppressing effective tactics.
