The stakes of this situation are anything but "fun." Rather than regarding some people as "normies," we take everyone's political proposals seriously, which means evaluating and analyzing them and making counterproposals. Some of these proposals are unlikely to succeed on their own terms.

Of the millions who attended the No Kings demonstrations in June, many were not dyed-in-the-wool liberals, they were just people looking for a way to act together. Letting liberals determine the scope of what they can do and imagine together will benefit no one, liberals included.
