According to Madhvi Bahl from @dcmigrantmutualaid.org, since the federal takeover kicked off on August 11 the group's hotline has received 4,852 incoming calls on immigration enforcement and other federal activity in the city. In the 79 days prior to the takeover, it was 743 calls.

There was a noticeable different pre- and post- MPD collaboration with feds.
Before, they were wandering popular touristy areas. After, they were targeting Black and Brown neighborhoods with surgical precision.
