#BREAKING The U.S. Supreme Court has sided with the State of Illinois on National Guard deployment.

Dehumanizing language is par for the course for how this admin talks, but seeing ICE/CBP repeatedly refer to women as "females" always sticks out to me. Growing up on Chicago's white south side, I remember cops, veterans - hell, even cub scout leaders - doing the exact same thing.

Last article from me for the year, talking about the legislative endeavors to reduce public access to body cam footage. I do not think body cams are the police misconduct panacea they were touted as, but diminishing access would be catastrophic.
