I think there is no better summation of the Democratic Party than saying you want to minimize cruelty instead of completely eliminate it
We can protect national security and public safety — the reasons why ICE was created in the first place — while minimizing cruelty, especially to children.

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

Not sure, but it might be related to why they elected to the House Oversight Committee a 74-year-old man who started in politics five years before the Macintosh came out and not a laser-focused 35-year-old woman who goes after the GOP like a 2x4 to the back of the head.
I have no idea why but after more than 10 years of this (back to how the GOP acted during Obama’s terms) the democrats have not realized that the game has changed and keep on trying to be friends with the party of nihilism.
