He’s 11 years younger than James L. Brooks and if that dude can get a studio to finance ELLA MCCAY than this man should get to make any movie he wants

This is just beautiful. Sincere but understated. You can feel the ache of loss. Scorsese is as good a writer as he is a director and actor. My house is full of books that he contributed essays, forewords, and introductions to, and every one is a gem.

Die Hard 2: Die Harder is also a Christmas movie, and I think it's the best Die Hard sequel. I know a lot of folks are partial to Die Hard With A Vengeance, but to me that one comes off more like a really good Lethal Weapon sequel.
